Join us on Constitution Avenue NW for the 250th celebration of July 4th at the home of the Declaration of Independence! We’ll celebrate on the steps of the National Archives with re-enactors, live music, family fun, and the iconic Declaration reading ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Enjoy extended hours at the National Archives from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., June 22–July 5, 2026
Please note: On June 23, the National Archives will operate on its regular schedule of 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. due to a private event.
